The Importance of Sisterhood

There are some seasons of life we aren't meant to navigate entirely on our own.

Midlife can sometimes feel surprisingly isolating. Even when we have people who love us, we may not always have spaces where we can speak openly about the questions we're carrying, the changes we're experiencing or the parts of ourselves we're beginning to rediscover.

Sovereign Sisterhood is intentionally designed around connection.

You won't simply attend a gathering once a month and then disappear back into your life until the next one.

Over six months, you'll be part of the same small circle of women. There will be opportunities to listen, share, reflect and discover that while each woman's story is her own, you may not be as alone in your experience as you thought.

This isn't about giving one another advice or trying to fix each other.

It's about being witnessed.

It's about having conversations that don't always happen in everyday life.

And it's about creating relationships that can support you as you listen more closely to yourself.

Your Sisterhood Pod

In addition to our full-circle gatherings, each woman will be placed in a small Sisterhood Pod.

Pods will have a simple structure and clear guidelines to help you connect between our monthly gatherings without wondering what you're supposed to talk about or turning the experience into another commitment you have to manage.

These smaller conversations will give you another place to reflect on what you're exploring, share what you're noticing and stay connected to the journey alongside women who are moving through it with you.

The Power Partner

Friends Embracing Outdoors

You'll also be paired with a Power Partner for more personal connection between gatherings.

Your Power Partner isn't there to coach you, counsel you or hold you responsible for accomplishing a list of goals.

She's another woman walking alongside you.

You'll have a simple framework for checking in with one another, offering encouragement and helping each other stay connected to the intentions, insights or changes that matter to you.

Sometimes knowing that one other person will ask, “How are you doing with what you said mattered to you?” can help us keep listening to ourselves when everyday life gets busy again.

Together, the full circle, your Sisterhood Pod and your Power Partner create different layers of connection throughout the six months.

You are doing your own work, making your own choices and listening for your own wisdom.

But you don't have to do it alone.
