Hi I'm Dea!

I am a registered Social Service Worker with the Ontario College of Social Worker & Social Service Workers.  I am also a trauma therapist and mind–body practitioner specializing in women’s emotional healing, nervous system regulation, and generational trauma recovery.

For over 25 years, I’ve supported women in overcoming trauma, anxiety, identity wounds, and patterns of self-silencing. My approach blends evidence-based therapy with somatic healing, and nervous system work— helping women feel safe, empowered, and deeply connected to themselves.

My mission is to help you release what no longer serves you and reconnect with your authentic, confident, grounded self so you can live a life of joy and purpose.

My Story

My work began as a crisis counselor in a domestic violence shelter, where I witnessed the resilience of women and the limitations of talk therapy alone. This led me to explore the deeper layers of healing — the body, the nervous system, and the ancestral patterns that shape how women show up in the world.

My own experience with postpartum depression further opened the door to Yoga, somatic therapy, and holistic mind–body practices. These modalities transformed how I understood trauma and became the foundation of my therapeutic approach.

How I Support Women

I provide a safe, compassionate, and trauma-informed environment where women can:

  • Regulate their nervous system

  • Heal trauma stored in the body

  • Break free from generational patterns

  • Rebuild self-worth and emotional resilience

  • Reconnect with intuition and feminine wisdom

  • Develop healthier boundaries and relationships

My work is rooted in mind–body connection, somatic awareness, emotional safety, and the restoration of feminine power.
